Plate Daddy is offline-first — your workouts live on your device and no account is required. A few optional features connect to outside services. Here’s exactly what each one does and how to switch it off. We never sell your data.
When you choose to connect Strava, Plate Daddy uses it only to do what you ask: post a workout or activity you completed to your Strava account, and confirm your connection. We request only the minimum Strava permissions needed to share the activities you choose, we never post anything without your action, and we never sell or share your Strava data with anyone else. Disconnect any time: in Plate Daddy, open Settings → Connected Accounts → Disconnect Strava; or from Strava, go to Settings → My Apps → Plate Daddy → Revoke Access. Revoking access immediately stops Plate Daddy from accessing your Strava account.
Plate Daddy can share workout cards and progress to Facebook when you choose to. We use only the Facebook permissions you approve, solely to post the content you select — never for advertising or profiling — and we don’t sell Facebook data. Manage or remove access in Facebook under Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites → Plate Daddy → Remove.
Sharing to Instagram and Snapchat uses your phone’s standard share sheet — Plate Daddy simply hands the image or card you picked to the app you choose. There’s no account login, and Plate Daddy does not read any data from your Instagram or Snapchat account.
The in-workout Now Playing card shows what’s currently playing and lets you control playback without leaving your set. Plate Daddy reads only the current-track information needed to display it; it doesn’t post anything or access your library or listening history. You can revoke Spotify access any time from your Spotify account under Security & privacy → Manage apps.
Full details are in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Your training history is stored on your device. You can export or import your full history any time from Settings → Data — you own your numbers, no account required.
Data deletion: to request deletion of any personal information associated with Plate Daddy, email Magarvin45@gmail.com with the subject line Plate Daddy Data Deletion Request. We’ll process it within a reasonable time, subject to any legal or operational requirements. If you connected a service such as Strava or Facebook, you can also revoke access in that service’s settings using the steps above.
