How Plate Daddy handles your information — in plain terms.
Plate Daddy respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Plate Daddy collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the Plate Daddy mobile application, including features that allow users to share workout activity or app content through connected services such as Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and Strava.
Plate Daddy may collect information that you voluntarily provide or generate while using the app, including:
Plate Daddy does not intentionally collect sensitive medical records, payment card information, or government identification numbers through these sharing or connected-service features.
Plate Daddy may let you connect to or share content with third-party services, including Strava, Facebook/Meta, Instagram, Snapchat, and music services (Apple Music and Spotify). These features are optional. If you use them, Plate Daddy requests only the permissions you approve — for example, the permission needed to post a workout you choose to share.
Strava. If you connect Strava, Plate Daddy uses it only to share the activities you choose and to confirm your connection, requesting the minimum permissions required. Plate Daddy does not sell or share your Strava data, and never posts without your action. You can disconnect in the app under Settings → Connected Accounts, or from Strava under Settings → My Apps → Revoke Access.
For Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat, Plate Daddy uses any approved permissions only to provide the posting or sharing you request. Sharing to Instagram and Snapchat typically uses your phone’s share sheet and does not read data from those accounts. Plate Daddy does not sell this data or use it for unrelated advertising or profiling.
Any content you post to a third-party service is controlled by that service’s settings and policies. Plate Daddy is not responsible for how Strava, Facebook/Meta, Instagram, Snapchat, or other platforms handle information after you share it through them.
Plate Daddy may use collected information to: provide and operate the app; track workouts, programs, streaks, achievements, and app progress; enable optional sharing or posting to connected services such as Strava, Facebook, Instagram, or Snapchat; improve app design, performance, reliability, and user experience; troubleshoot crashes, bugs, or technical issues; respond to support requests; and protect the security and integrity of the app.
Plate Daddy does not sell personal information. Plate Daddy may share information only in the following situations:
Plate Daddy uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect user information. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and Plate Daddy cannot guarantee absolute security. Access tokens or authorization credentials for connected services (such as Strava or Facebook), if used, are handled only as necessary to support that integration and should not be shared by the user with anyone else.
You may choose not to use any sharing or connected-service feature, and you can disconnect a service at any time. Strava: disconnect in Plate Daddy under Settings → Connected Accounts, or in Strava under Settings → My Apps → Plate Daddy → Revoke Access. Facebook: open Facebook; go to Settings & Privacy; select Settings; go to Apps and Websites; find Plate Daddy; select Remove. Spotify: revoke access in your Spotify account under Security & privacy → Manage apps. Instagram & Snapchat sharing uses your device share sheet, so there is no connection to remove. Disconnecting a service stops Plate Daddy from accessing further information from it.
You may request deletion of personal information associated with Plate Daddy by contacting us at Magarvin45@gmail.com. Please include the subject line: Plate Daddy Data Deletion Request. In your request, include enough information for us to identify your account or app data. We will review and process deletion requests within a reasonable time, subject to any legal, security, or operational requirements. If you connected Plate Daddy to Facebook, you may also remove Plate Daddy from your Facebook account by following the steps in Section 6 above.
Plate Daddy is not intended for children under 13 years old. Plate Daddy does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that information from a child under 13 has been collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
Plate Daddy may interact with third-party services, including Strava, Facebook/Meta, Instagram, Snapchat, Apple services, Apple Music, Spotify, analytics providers, or other integrations used to support app functionality. These third-party services may collect and process information according to their own privacy policies. Users should review the privacy policies of any third-party services they choose to connect with Plate Daddy.
Plate Daddy may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted at the same Privacy Policy URL with a new effective date. Continued use of Plate Daddy after changes are posted means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
